Dues:

Last year a motion to raise dues for 2011 passed. Everyone was notified of the change and was sent a mailing concerning this issue. The following is some answers to some of the commonly asked questions.

Dues were raised $20 a year for both active and associate members. If you are an active retiree who has an FOP plate you only pay the $25 per capita fee unless you also purchase life insurance. The cost of life insurance has not changed. Life insurance for those over 55 is $25 a year and $48 for retiree insurance under age 55.

If you are an active or associate member who had payroll deduction to pay your dues please be sure to update your finance office of the changes so that the proper amount is deducted. This will ensure that your dues are up to date so that you do not get an unexpected bill for the remaining amount due.

Contact Kory Luker with questions.

E-mail:

If anyone would like to receive his or her Lodge information by E-mail, please forward your e-mail address to secretary@fop99.com . Dues will still be mailed out for the time being.  An E-mail list is now in place.  This is a great way to save the Lodge money and get your Lodge information in a timely matter.

Website:

Charles D. Hammond Lodge #99 has a website www.fop99.com.  Please check it out. We have pictures of past events, an upcoming events calendar, ect. Thanks to Mike Cameron for development of the web site.

FaceBook:

The Lodge #99 now has a Facebook page. We will use this to keep the membership more in tune and up to date with what’s going on at the lodge. Only members will be allowed to join the Facebook page. Please look for this as we will be posting informative details on upcoming lodge events.

Trash Bags:

The Lodge sells great trash and yard bags.  Contact 2nd Vice President Dan Stout II at stoutda@co.muskegon.mi.us or call 759-1508 to purchase the bags.

ATTENTION ACTIVE RETIREES: If you have a FOP License Plate on your vehicle(s) and would like to renew the license plate, you will need to send $25.00 (Yearly State Per Capita Tax)

(ASAP) to: FOP, P.O. Box 573, Muskegon, Michigan 49443.  This will allow you to be carried as an active member by the State FOP.  The State FOP will then tell the Secretary of State that you are an FOP member, and you can renew your license plate.  Otherwise you will not be able to get or renew your FOP plate.

Assist Your Lodge Secretary:

When you relocate, please inform the Lodge’s secretary of the move.  This will ensure that you will get your Lodge’s informational correspondence and your dues bill.

If you have not paid your 2011 dues and/or insurance, they are now due.

Thank You!

We would like to thank all of our members for supporting the lodge.
